Hi, I'm Breonna.

My path into data didn't start in a traditional tech environment. It started in the ocean.
​
With a background in Marine Biology, I began my career using science, technology, and data to better understand and protect the environments I cared about. Over time, I found myself increasingly drawn to the data behind the work. I enjoyed learning how information could be collected, mapped, analyzed, and transformed into tools that helped people make better decisions.

That curiosity eventually led me from marine biology into data analytics, and ultimately to creating Breez Collective.
From Research to Real-World Solutions
I've always been interested in solving complex problems.
My work has always centered on one question: How can we use data and technology to solve real-world problems?
​
My experience spans interactive coral restoration mapping, drone imagery and geospatial analysis for island vegetation and seabird research, statistical modeling, and A/B testing. These projects challenged me to work with complex datasets, identify meaningful patterns, and translate technical findings into actionable insights.

Today, I apply that same analytical thinking to business operations and data systems. My work includes developing SQL and Python ETL workflows to integrate, clean, and validate data from multiple sources; building interactive dashboards to track performance and uncover trends; and automating reporting processes that reduced manual data entry by 80%.Â
I've also built data request ticketing systems and centralized data resource websites to improve how teams request, access, and use information.

With an M.S. in Data Analytics and a foundation in Marine Biology, I bring a combination of scientific rigor, technical versatility, and practical problem-solving to every project. From transforming disconnected datasets into reliable reporting to building automated workflows that give teams back their time, I focus on creating solutions that don't just look good but also work, scale, and make a measurable difference.Â
